Handwoven blue khesh cotton saree with thin stripes on the body and closely stripped plain palla. Accessorised with self tassels.
Saree may or may not have the same stripes as in picture as we have multiple pieces and each saree comes with slight difference in color of stripes .
Blouse : Yes, it has its own running blouse along with an extra cotton mix - n match as in pictures

Handloom fabrics tend to bleed out excess color in initial washes.

Khesh saree: The weaving technique requires tearing of old sarees into thin strips - the warp has the new thread and the weft uses the thin strips of torn sarees. It is the women of the weavers house who patiently tear the sari into multiple long strips. It is up to the weaver to match the warp with the weft and create designs. The beauty of a Khesh fabric is that the colour of the recycled weft fabric keeps changing. These are hand woven sarees and the asymmetry/ irregularities in the weaves and colors makes them exclusive and desirable.
